
Safety and health e-learning courses
We have developed a suite of e-learning courses which are of particular interest to:
- Health and Safety Officers/Principals/Teachers in schools who have an interest in managing safety in schools, or those with designated responsibility for same
- Technologies teachers at post-primary level
- Science teachers at post-primary level
- Post-primary students (Transition Year, Leaving Certificate Applied and Leaving Certificate Vocational)
- Third level students studying one particular course in a safety-critical field.
The aim of the courseware is to enable learners to increase their awareness of safety, health and welfare matters in the school environment. The following courses are now available over the internet:

This course acts as a good aid to school principals and teachers in their understanding of workplace safety, health and welfare. This course introduces students to the principles of safety and health. It is useful for senior cycle students whose programme of learning includes some form of work experience and those who are actively engaged in part-time or holiday work.
