We believe that education is the key to fostering a culture of safety and health to heighten awareness and keep young people safe and healthy in the home, school, community and workplace. Here you will find safety and health material aimed at delivering key messages to young people for delivery through the school system.
We continue to develop safety and health courses for teachers which can be delivered through traditional classroom participation and also through some of our e-learning programmes.
Student Safety in the Workplace – Transition Unit
Student Safety in the Workplace introduces students to the principles of workplace safety and health. It is aimed at Transition Year students (and other senior cycle students) as a preparation for the world of work and is particular relevant for those undertaking some form of work experience.
‘Choose Safety’ Programme (Transition/Senior Cycle Years)
Choose Safety is an educational programme on the principles of safety and health in the workplace for students. This course is specifically aimed at Transition Year, Leaving Certificate Applied, Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme and Post Leaving Certificate Students.
