These Regulations were signed by Batt O’Keeffe, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation on 21 December 2010 and came into operation from that date.
The Regulations amend the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act 1998 in order to allow for the transposition of Directive 2008/68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 September 2008 on the inland transport of dangerous goods as amended by Commission Decision 2010/187/EU of 25 March 2010 by means of Regulations made under that Act.
