IT Carlow wins 3rd Level 'Safety in Construction' Competition 2012/2013

A team from IT Carlow have won this year's ‘Safety in Construction’ competition aimed at undergraduate students.  Six teams were short-listed for the final which was held at Dublin's RDS on Thursday, 7th March. Each member of the winning 'Ventus Vis Vires' team from IT Carlow received an Apple iPad. A team from NUI Galway won second place and a prize of €600. All remaining finalists received a certificate of commendation and €300 per team. The finalists included teams from IT Carlow, Letterkenny IT, and NUI Galway.
