Sensitive Risk Groups

It is essential that work tasks, working conditions and the work environment do not adversely affect the health of sensitive risk groups such as pregnant employees, night and shift workers and young person’s at work.

The Safety Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (1.6 MB) contain: specific workplace health regulations on the following:

• Protection of Children and Young Persons

• Protection of Pregnant, Post Natal and Breastfeeding Employees

• Night Work and Shift Work
