BeSMART.ie is a wide ranging initiative that the Health and Safety Authority has been running since 2011 to support and assist businesses with managing health and safety in their workplaces.
The primary aim is to:
“To make safety and health contribute in a manner that is tailored specifically for small business so enabling it to reduce the incidence of accidents and ill health; to motivate workers and maintain their involvement and to assist the overall success of the business.”
BeSMART.ie is a FREE, easy to use, online resource which will allow you to carry out risk assessments and develop a safety statement for free for your business. It has been widely welcomed by businesses across a range of sectors and it has over 67,000 users and is continuously growing.
