ADR Security Guidelines
Guidelines have been drawn up by industry to provide a comprehensive range of technical and operational options to achieve compliance with the regulatory requirements of ADR Chapter 1.10. The guidelines provide companies, involved in the transport of dangerous goods by road, with a list of options on how the requirements of ADR Chapter 1.10 can be met. It is however up to each company to select the most appropriate and effective means from this toolbox, commensurate with the risks involved, and taking into account the specific conditions in which it operates.
The first edition of the guidelines emerged in April 2005, and they have been revised several times, approximately with each biennium.
See the Cefic website for a copy of the current guidelines.
