Safety Alert – Dewalt Full Face Mask Model 1600-008

(OFFERED FOR SALE BETWEEN JUNE 2023 AND DECEMBER 2025)

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have been made aware of a Product Safety Recall issued by Helmet Integrated Systems Limited, T/A Gentex Europe, in respect of the Dewalt Full Face Mask, Model 1600-008, with the part number starting with “DXIRFFM”.

Product Information:

The HSA understands that products with the batch numbers listed in the table below are affected. The batch number can be found on the label on the outer box (see first picture above) or inside of the Full Face Mask (see second picture above). Products outside these ranges are understood not to be affected.

Risk:

Cracking or breaking in the exhale valve area may affect the permeability of the mask, which could result in reduced respiratory protection.

Action:

1. Stop using the product immediately, and,
2. Return the product to the distributor from whom it was purchased for a replacement or fund.
