An emergency service outside of standard office hours is operated. In case of a serious injury/fatality outside of standard business hours (9:00am to 3:00pm), please phone 0818 289 389 where you will be offered a transfer to the Gardai who will in turn notify a HSA senior inspector.

Head Office:

To travel to the Health and Safety Office (HSA) in Dublin, you can take the LUAS red line which stops at Connolly Station, located near the office (approx. 5 minutes). Alternatively, you can walk from Heuston Station (approx. 25 minutes), or Connolly Station (approx. 5 minutes).

Chemical Policy & Services Head Office and Kilkenny Field Office:

Address: 3rd Floor, Hebron House, Hebron Road, Kilkenny, R95 T91Y.

The Kilkenny office is located at McDonagh Junction - very close to MacDonagh Station train station (approx. 5-minutes’ walk) and intercity/city bus stops (approx. 2-minutes’ walk).

Waterford Field Office:

Address: 5th Floor, Government Buildings, The Glen, Waterford, X91 P04E.

The Waterford office is located about 1.3km outside Waterford City and is accessible by Waterford City Bus (Route/Bus No: 360).

Cork Field Office:

Address: 3rd Floor, 1A South Mall, Cork, T12 P7DE.

The Cork office is centrally located in Cork City, just a short walk from Kent station (approx. 25 minutes) and Busáras Central Bus Station (approx. 5 minutes’ walk).

Limerick Field Office:

Address: Block A, Loughmore Centre, Raheen Business Park, Limerick, V94 DH59.

The Limerick office is located outside the city in the Raheen Business Park. Bus Éireann routes 301 & 304A connect Limerick Colbert Station (the main bus and train hub) directly to the Raheen Business Park. The 301 Bus enters the Business Park and makes two stops. The second stop at the FAS Office is the closest to the HSA Office. However, it is approximately a 10-minute walk from the stop to the office. The 304A stops outside the main entrance to the Business Park, leaving approximately a 15-minute walk to the HSA Office.

Galway Field Office:

Address: 2nd Floor, The Plaza Offices, Headford Road, Galway, H91 KC6V.

The Galway office is located about a fifteen-minute walk from Galway city centre.

  • Train: Ceannt Station (approx. 15 minutes’ walk).
  • Bus: Busáras Central Bus Station (approx. 15-minutes’ walk).
  • Regional bus services to office: Bus Eireann bus route 419 (Clifden), route 424 (Spiddal), route 52 (Ballina via Tuam), and route 64 (Ballyhaunas, via Tuam and Claregalway).
  • Local Link buses: route 439 (Loughrea), route 438 (Tuam).
  • City link bus route 763.

Sligo Field Office:

Address: Unit 1 Beulah Building, Finisklin Road, Sligo, F91 A344.

The Sligo office is located about a twenty-minute walk from Sligo town and is accessible using Bus Éireann - Route S3.

Athlone Field Office:

Address: Block A, 2nd Floor, Monksland Retail Business Park, Athlone, N37 X8N.
