The Health and Safety Authority has a wide and varied mandate which includes acting as the national body with responsibility for protecting all workers nationwide from work-related incidents, injuries and ill health. The Authority acts as the national accreditation body for Ireland through INAB.

Grade III Inspector Positions Occupational Health Division

We have a number of opportunities for Inspector Grade III positions in our Health Portfolio Teams and our Behavioural Health and Safety Team which are based in our Occupational Health Division. The work of a Grade III inspector is varied and can involve the following non-exhaustive list of activities and tasks across all our mandates. Specific tasks for the successful candidate will depend on the team or area they work in.  Complete inspections and investigations. Prepare criminal investigation files for review by the Office of the DPP. Undertake market surveillance of industrial products and chemicals.

Incremental salary scale: €39,474 - €79,618
