Red PVC Glove – Safety Alert

The Health and Safety Authority have found the below product available on the Irish Market.  

Product Description

Red PVC coated glove, length 45cm with polyester lining.

Risk Description

The plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 20% by weight). This phthalate may be harmful to human health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.

What to Do?

If you purchased this product, please discontinue use immediately, discard the product immediately and keep out of the reach of children.
